Did you know that the Town and the US Geological Survey operate a real-time Tide Gage and Weather Station at Saybrook Point? You can access the station online and view information, updated every 15 minutes, on tide stage, temperature, rainfall, wind speed and direction, humidity and
barometric pressure as well as historic data. For example, here's a graph of the nearly 5" of rainfall recorded at the station over the past week.
So whenever you want to know what's going on with the weather or tide right here in Old Saybrook, visit the station’s website.
